I'm back and in love!

So after a very loooonnnngg hiatus, I’m back! And of course a lot has happened since my last post that it would require at least 50 posts to chronicle all of it, so let’s just start afresh shall we? Cool!😉

Seeing as love is still kinda in the air from all the Valentine’s Day feels ☺ let’s make this ‘first’ post about Love ❤. Now, anyone who knows me knows that I love love and that I am a romantic who shamelessly wears his emotions on his sleeve 😌 that said, we may now proceed to the subject at hand.

Love for me has been a, shall we say, rollercoaster 🎢 with probably more downs than ups. It just never seemed to work out. There always seemed to be one ‘comma’ - a mismatch, wrong timing, distance and so on. My last relationship was especially rough because I was totally blindsided by the heart break. One moment I was in a relationship where a conversation could have resolved whatever issues we had (or so I thought) and the next I was in a totally failed relationship. Just like that. And boy did that knock the wind out of my sails! From denial to depression, I went through the whole thing. But as with all lovers of love, I decided that this love thing was still for me, (even though I had gotten my heart shattered into a bazillion pieces 🙄) I guess this is the true meaning of being a hopeless romantic. lol.

Now that I’ve decided to give love another shot it feels like my heart healed and became stronger 💃🏾🕺🏾my despair and cynicism on the subject has given way to hope and optimism. There may actually be that wedding jollof after all 😅
